Role: Utilities Co-ordinator
Location: Northampton
Salary: up to £27,000 p/a plus package

My client are looking for a Project Co-ordinator for a busy utilities department based in Northampton, the successful candidate will have experience in the utilities sector and be able to hit the ground running to become part of our team.
 
 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Report to the Directors with updates of tasks given.
  • To progress the management of Utilities and Services for client's developments including applications, diversions, disconnections and project management.

Key Tasks
 
Liaising with utility companies to:

  • Organise the provision of new mains and services on client's developments.
  • Progress enquiries in relation to diversions on client's developments.
  • Progress enquiries in relation to disconnections on client's developments.
  • Assist in the project management of utility provision on sites including new mains and services, diversions and disconnections.
  • Liaising with new and existing clients in relation to all aspects of work carried out on their behalf.

About you:

  • Relevant experience in the field of utilities and the key tasks listed.
  • Knowledge of the relevant highway/utility standards and its applicability.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage your own workload supporting project delivery.
  • Confidence to liaise with both the client at all levels and the utility provider both over the telephone, via teams or on-site when required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT Skills
  • MS Office Suite
  • CAD experience would be beneficial.
