A strong ED&I strategy across the talent supply chain helps teams reach their full potential.
Women and ethnic minorities remain underrepresented in engineering. A 2020 report by Engineering UK revealed that while progress is being made - female engineers now make up 14.5% (up from 4.6% in 2016) - more work is needed. Just 9% of engineers are from BAME backgrounds, despite nearly 30% of engineering graduates being from these groups.
The built environment workforce must better reflect the communities it serves. That’s why we’re proud to partner with organisations driving meaningful change across the UK.
