Are you a storeperson with your counterbalance forklift driver licence?
 
Are you immediately available and looking for a long term exciting job?
 
My client has an immediate position for a storeperson to work in Feltham, it is important that you are able to get to Feltham Train station for different shift times.
 
Location: Feltham
 
Rate: £18.50 umbrella
 
Hours: 50 hours a week will involve shift and weekend work.
 
It is a fast-moving environment that requires fast turnaround and control of materials and tools and an appreciation for the need to meet tight deadlines to meet the client's expectations.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·oversee and organise the day-to-day running of an 8,000ft warehouse store
·ensure that the high levels of service and work towards our goals of accuracy, safety and efficiency
·demonstrate positive people skills, good communication and IT skills.
·learn and use the company stock control booking applications.
·maintain communication with the project team with updates and material availability.
·strive for improvements in all areas of our warehousing, ranging from warehouse software systems, security, cleanliness and organisation to physical layout of the inventory
·enjoy problem solving, calmly and efficiently should they arise
·be flexible and able to react to inevitable changes in a fast-moving business
·be responsible for all materials and tools control, and all warehouse consumables.
·ensure the highest levels of health, safety and hygiene are upheld
·be a qualified counterbalance forklift driver
·be a hands-on person who likes to lead by example
 
Requirements:
 
·Ability to competently use Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
·Previous experience of warehouse management
·Excellent knowledge of warehouse processes
·Good computer/warehouse management system knowledge
·Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
·Ability to handle difficult and sometimes demanding customer expectations
·Be a self-starter and the ability to work on your own
·Be agile of thought and problem solve.Excellent people skills
·Confidence as a team worker
