Stock Controller - 6 month FTC (Extension/Permanent is realistic)
Milton Keynes - £12.50 -13.85 per hour
 
My client offer metering and energy solutions services. They seek a stock controller to assist with the management of all company stock and material including inventory management.
 
Key Duties
·Control of all tock for field based teams, including tracking , goods inwards, dispatches, returns/rejections and transfers
·Missing stock investigation
·Organise vehicle stock audits
·Maintain accurate and extensive inventory databases, including forewarning of forthcoming stock issues
·COmplie stock reports
·Liaise with other departments to assist with and enforce cost innovation projects
·Deployment of stock
 
Key Responsibilities
·Drive improvements on the control of aged and outstanding stock
·Excess/Low stock reporting
·Supplier auditing and performance reviews
·Ensure stock is available in line with the planned workload
·Support logistics activities across field services where needed

Qualifications/Experience

·Good Microsoft Excel Skills (essential)
·Should be a good communicator at all levels both orally and in written form
·Excellent problem solving skills.
·Excellent time management skills, possessing the ability to prioritise tasks and objectives and work to deadlines.
 
My client are offering a rate of up to £13.85 (PAYE) per hour for this position, and it should prove to be a popular role.
