Job Opportunity: Site Manager
Location: Bedford (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + car allowance


Looking to take the lead on exciting water and wastewater projects? This role involves managing the design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater plants across the UK and Ireland.


As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of remediation and groundworks projects, ensuring health & safety, quality, and commercial goals are met. With support from the Project Lead, you'll manage site operations, oversee subcontractors, and keep projects on track.

You will be expended to travel across the UK on various sites, but lodging and expenses will be paid.

Key Responsibilities:
·Take charge of site health & safety, ensuring safe working practices
·Manage subcontractors and the site team
·Organize labour and materials to meet project deadlines
·Lead progress meetings and daily site briefings
·Maintain high-quality standards, overseeing subcontractor work
·Deliver toolbox talks and arrange inductions
·Liaise with clients and partners regularly to keep everyone updated
·Manage the schedule of works and ensure the project stays on track
·Provide technical assistance and act as site AP (Appointed Person)
·Compile and oversee installation, repair, and maintenance programmes

Qualifications:
·Mechanical & electrical background (M&E)
·SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme)
·Full 3-day first aid certification
·Black CSCS Card (Management & Professionals)
·EUSR - Water hygiene
·Temporary Works Coordinator

Desirable Qualifications:
·City & Guilds confined space entrant & topman (Medium Risk) (6160-09)
·CPCS Appointed Person (A61)
