Role: Senior Electrical Site Manager - Water Rate: £350 - £450 per day inside IR35 Location: South London Duration: On-going minimum 2 years
My Client, a Leading Contractor are looking for a Senior Electrical Site Manager to work in London.
A great opportunity to join a tier 1 contractor that have secured significant AMP7 contracts on the Thames Water Framework.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the Water, However will consider candidate's from a power + Utilities background such as HV Network Projects.
The work will initially revolve around 3 clean water sites that are approaching their final 6 months of commissioning and preparing for handover. These are focused around HV Switch over and Transformer change outs. After you will be assigned to a new site in the area to do a lot of the front end delivery and expansion of a clean or waste water treatment works.
We are looking on a senior basis for somebody who can work entirely independently, who is able to confidently make tough decisions and provide direction to sub contractors and delivery teams without necessarily having to wait on feedback and liaising with Design/Project engineers. We also have a separate position available for a non senior if you are somebody looking to develop into the senior role..
Responsibilities:
·Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors ·Supervision of in-house project labour resources ·HSEQ control and monitoring ·Liaison with the client representatives ·Identifying and planning installation resource needs for projects ·Writing Method Statements ·Writing Risk Assessments ·Liaison with line management on project performance ·Implementation of company safety, health, environmental and quality policies ·Ensuring and maintaining an acceptable quality of outputs
Requirements
·Qualified in Electrical Engineering ·Must have water or waste-water industry experience ·Ability to demonstrate experience in supervisory role ·Experience writing method statements, risk assessments and H&S ·Hold a valid full UK driving licence
