Are you a Road Safety Engineer that is currently looking for a new challenge?
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Road Safety Engineer with experience in managing a programme of development related highway works to join a client in West London.
 
This is a full-time contract offered on an on-going basis, initially for 12 months. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
 
·You will work with developers and colleagues within the council to ensure design and delivery of development related highway works is in accordance with planning permissions and the council's Local Implementation Plan.
·You will be the point of contact between the Council, developers and their consultants, the contractor, the council's legal advisors and other internal and external colleagues to ensure that due process is followed in approving highway works, ensuring records are kept as appropriate, certificates and approvals are issued in a timely manner, and that all payments due to the council are made in accordance with agreed timescales.
·You will assist the Traffic Transport & Parking team in delivering on its targets for casualty reduction through the delivery of schemes that improve road safety.
 
About You:
