Salary: £45,000+ per annum (flexible DOE)
Contract Option: Dependant on experience - Outside IR35
Duration: 6-12 months
Working Pattern: 4 days site-based, 1 day WFH
Role Details:
We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing team supporting a range of rail and infrastructure packages across the UK.
With four H&S professionals already in place, this is a key additional hire to strengthen project coverage across railway schemes in London, Manchester and Portsmouth.
This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and provide practical, visible H&S leadership across multiple live environments.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide day-to-day H&S support across rail and infrastructure packages
·Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with company and statutory standards
·Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
·Promote a strong safety culture across operational teams
·Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal management
·Contribute to environmental management initiatives where applicable
Essential Requirements
·H&S Advisor with experience working on railway infrastructure
·NEBOSH Construction Certificate
Desirable
·Environmental management experience
