Public Rights of Way Officer

Are you working in public rights of way and countryside access and looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a Public Rights of Way Officer to join a London Borough on an ongoing contact.

The Public Rights of Way officer you will be responsible for the recording, protection, maintenance and improvement of the councils footpaths, bridleways and byways.

As the Public Rights of Way Officer you will:
·You will lead on the implementation of numerous public rights of way (PRoW) and countryside access initiatives where there is a necessity for a multi-agency/ partnership approach.
·You will deliver integrated access schemes in the growth areas, working closely with planners and developers.
·You will contribute to responses made to local and strategic consultations as required. The post carries a high-volume workload.
·You will be able to display excellent organisation and communication skills, be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
·You will have excellent IT skills including the use of Geographical Information Systems. You will have experience of working within Public Rights of Way.

Previous experience in Public Rights of Way is essential for this role.
