Principal Transport Planner - Public Realm & Planning
 
As the Principal Transport Planner you will be responsible for the development, monitoring and review of policies, strategies, programmes and projects for transport, traffic and parking within the remit of the Transport Strategy Service. To develop the borough's policy objectives, being mindful of the wider corporate strategies and regional and national context.  
 
You will be responsible for the initial development and ongoing overview and public and political engagement for public realm schemes, including liaisons with Engineering and Parking Services during delivery and other internal services as appropriate, and to undertake work in a senior capacity for the production of documents, including input corporately, that are the responsibility of the service.
 
Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role.
