Job description
My client is a large independent geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy based in London, and is part of a small group of companies that together specialise in providing expert design, investigation and monitoring services.
They have an exciting opportunity for someone to take over, lead and develop the geo-environmental offering. They have an increasing workload and have a high level of client satisfaction & repeat business. Their London-based, 5 strong geo-environmental team, made up of graduates, a consultant and two senior consultants requires a new lead. The role would be to run the team, provide continued mentoring and grow the group. There are some great opportunities alongside the geotechnical team, ground investigation colleagues and the maritime and monitoring teams. Their project portfolio is in urban redevelopment, with some infrastructure schemes in the mix. Geo-environmental scope that they cater for extends over full life-cycle, with pre-planning Phase I, Phase IIs (also supporting the in-house ground investigation sister company, RMS and verification. The company also engages in value engineering for contractors with waste classification and management.
The role is to be based in London. Salary commensurate with experience. Selected package items are they allow some work from home and remote working, 25 days annual leave per annum, discretionary practice and individual performance related bonus, pension scheme and mobile phone (or cash allowance). They also cover all your institution membership related costs.
