Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in London in the search for a Planning Enforcement Inspections Officer. This will be an initial 3-month contract with extensions expected.

Responsibilities

• To support the delivery of an efficient, effective and customer focussed Planning Service.
• To take responsibility for carrying out a high volume of inspections on alleged breaches of planning control, recognising breaches of planning control and making preliminary decisions on expediency and appropriate course of action.
• Responsible for producing case closure notes for senior officers where breaches of planning control have not been identified or in instances where it is not deemed expedient to progress a formal investigation.
• Responsible for producing case notes for senior officers where breaches of planning control have been identified.

The contract offered is for an initial 3-month duration with the potential to extend, the council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running, due to the job responsibilities a presence on site will be required at least 3 times per/week.

*More experienced Planning Enforcement Officers will be considered*

Carrington West Pay Rate - Up to £30 per/hour (Negotiable depending on experience)
