Are you an experienced Parking Contracts Manager looking for your next challenge?
 
Our client is an ambitious London Borough who are seeking a Parking Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be positioned within the Traffic, Transport and Parking service and reporting into the Head of Parking and Customer Engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
 
·To lead a dedicated service providing effective management and delivery of the parking services contract. To manage responsibilities ensuring that the Council fulfils its statutory obligations in accordance with policies and regulations.  To shape, implement and develop the service providing professional and technical advice to residents, local businesses, members, senior management, stakeholders, suppliers and deliver continuous improvement.
·Deliver a first class, modern and inventive strategic and operational people business partnering service. You'll need to develop a new model as this is a new service. The principal focus will be on managing people change; strategic resourcing and workforce planning; and support to highly complex employee relations cases.
·Contribute to the Council's strategic and business planning approaches and ensure the delivery of these.
 
What is required?
 
·As the successful candidate, you will have management experience within a local authority
 
·You will have great stakeholder management skills.
 
·You will have strong contract management experience
