Are you a P6 planner who has worked on rail signalling schemes?
Are you looking for your next contract position?
Location: London - working from home for foreseeable future
Contract Length: 6 months +
Rate: £450-£520 per day (umbrella)
My client is a leading consultancy who are currently working on a major rail signalling project and need a P6 planner who has worked on signalling schemes before.
Everyone for this consultancy is currently home working but in the long run the planner will be required to be based in the office in London. This will be split between2/3 days a week, so the relevant candidate must be able to be based in London long term.
Requirements:
A recognised diploma or degree or be qualified by experience.
Previous rail signalling experience as a P6 planner
Significant experience in all aspects of planning and scheduling Including but not limited to:
Work Breakdown structure creation
Preparation and update of logic linked programme
Baseline management
Critical path analysis
Preparation of periodic reports
An understanding of Risk management and change management
Experience or knowledge of resource loading programmes, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting
A flexible approach to be office or site based according to the needs of the business and client
Effective client interface skills and experience with the ability to offer both strategic and project advice.
Good report writing and presentation skills.
Good IT skills and the ability operate professional planning tools such as Primavera P6
Excellent communication skills
