Carrington West are recruiting on behalf of a metering and data solutions provider with a unique position in the market. They are one of the only companies in the UK that focus on Industrial and Commercial Metering UK wide, and are rapidly expanding their field-based workforce.
As a result, Carrington West are keen to speak to technicians with Utility metering experience in the Guildford area, to discuss long-term contract work with opportunities to go permanent after 6 months.
The work is purely in Industrial/Commercial settings and will focus on I&C Dual Fuel. Full training/upskill will be provided if you do not hold Three Phase or Medium Pressure qualifications.
The pay rates for this position are competitive and include a day rate and bonus scheme along with company vehicle, fuel, tools and excellent training that could lead to increased earnings based on your skills and experience.
 
Further information about the pay scale can be supplied upon request, but average weekly earnings range from £750-£1000, which can also be improved upon with overtime or out of hours work (optional).
 
Key Experience Needed
 
·CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 (with a minimum of 18 months field experience)
·MOCOPA (Single Phase ot above, with min 18 month field expereince)
 
Main responsibilities
 
·Single and Three Phase meter installation/removal. (Upskill from Single Phase can be provided)
·Low/Medium Pressure Gas installation (Upskil from Low pressure can be provided)
·Remote and on-site fault diagnosis/rectification
·Remote and on-site meter/equipment programming/reading, using various computer programs
·Planning and Installation of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS)
·Workload planning and appointment booking with customersAccurate completion and submission of paperwork.
·Meter reading, testing, and logger replacement as required.
·Stock planning and control to ensure availability of all equipment required to complete jobs
