Role: Mechanical Fitter - Water Sector
Location: Multiple sites across south West water
Pay: £16 - £18 per hour
Schedule: 40 - 45 Hours Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 months - Opportunity to turn permanent
 
My client, a leading tier 1 water industry contractor covering Mechanical installation schemes in the water industry for South West Water, are currently looking for mechanical fitters with water industry experience to join their team working on a few sites across the South West Water Framework.
 
You will be provided a company Van and fuel card, the sites will be anywhere between East Devon and the  Isle of Scilly.
 
The work being carried out will also include electrical instillations and the main part of the work will be ideal candidate will have water sector experience and/or an 18th Edition electrical qualification.
 
In this role, you will be mainly responsible for the Installation of pipe-work, pumps, inlet screens, motors and control panels etc.
 
Initial 3 month contract which will more than likely be extended for the entire calender year of 2022, or a permanent position offered.
 
Deliverables:
·You will be undertaking various mechanical & electrical Installation projects.
·You will be involved in waste water projects involving installation of pipes, valves, pumps and fabricated items such a metal stair cases, hand rails, gantries, walkways, access ladders and similar
 
Skills & Qualifications
- Water Sector Experience - Essential
·Qualified mechanical fitter or apprentice trained background - Essential
·Drivers License - Essential
·CSCS card (desirable)
·CCNSG safety passport (desirable)
·EUSR Water hygiene card (desirable)
·Confined Spaces certification (desirable)
- 18th Edition (Desirable)
