Role and Responsibilities
Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy that has grown from two to eleven people in just eight months. This company is making its mark across diverse sectors, including data centres, commercial developments, and residential projects, and is poised for even greater success. They are looking for a Lead Fire Engineer to take the helm of their fire engineering division.
In this fully remote role, you will become the face and focal point for all fire-related services. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing the fire engineering department, mentoring junior engineers, and overseeing projects from start to finish. You will be given the autonomy to grow the team in your own vision, developing standards and shaping the future of the discipline within the business.

What you'll need
·Proven experience in fire engineering, with a strong focus on strategy reports.
·Ability to lead and manage a technical department.
·Experience mentoring junior engineers.
·Exceptional communication skills, essential for a remote team.
·Experience with the design of active and passive fire systems.
·A track record of developing client relationships or bringing in work.
·Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
·Experience working within a smaller, agile consultancy.
