Role: Graduate Electrical Engineer - (Water projects)  
Location: Preston   
Salary: Up to £27,000 p/a plus package

My client, a tier 1 contractor to United Utilities water framework, are looking for Graduate Electrical engineers with a good attitude, willing to learn and develop to join their growing team in the North West.
This is a long-term position which will give you the foundations to build your career and learn from the some of the most experienced engineers and managers in the industry.
The services they offer include civil, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation, supplemented by the design and manufacture of Control Panels, MCC's, PLC's, SCADA and automation systems.
 
The role:
 
We are currently recruiting for Graduate Electrical Engineers to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on projects in the Water industry. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, will be reporting to a Project Manager and responsible for supporting all technical and commercial aspects of Electrical installations on site. Candidates will be qualified in Electrical Engineering.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Attend internal and external design review and progress meetings
·Produce and review electrical & mechanical design documentation
·Procurement of Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and support for subcontract procurement
·Ensure that site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standards
Qualifications/Competency:
 
·BEng (Hons) or MEng Electrical Engineering
·Knowledge and awareness of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality IT literate
