We are actively looking for a Geotechnical Designers Site Representative to work on large infrastructure distribution warehouse projects. This contract will be for initially 8 weeks in duration. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and will be based on site in Coventry.
 
Our client is considering candidates both outside and inside IR35 subject to an SDS.
 
Key experience required
 
·Ideally chartered with a relevant engineering degree with 5 experience working on site overseeing earthworks operations and rock cuttings
·Knowledge of Geotechnical design
·Experience of overseeing piling and foundation excavations would also be advantageous
·Be responsible for dealing with technical queries and materials approval requests as well as overseeing earthworks cutting and filling operation, inspection of rock slopes during and post excavation, inspection of foundation formations and piling operations
·Co-ordinating with the other discipline leads and the contractors site team
·Keep site records and compiling the information for the geotechnical feedback reports for the scheme
