My client is a new ISP and are currently looking to expand their design team with a Fibre Network Planning Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning on networks which include Openreach, Virgin Media, Hyperoptic or City Fibre. My client have a very exciting future and are looking to grow in the coming years. The successful candidate will provide instruction and leadership to the planning team who are currently made up of 4 Planners. You will be required to work across all departments and lead the responsibility for the design of the FTTP infrastructure.
 
You will:
·Design the fibre-optic infrastructure and civil for FTTH networks.
·Have experience of GIS systems for the FTTP design  
·Utilise existing infrastructure in the design
·Review designs to improve the quality of the network design 
·Knowledge of PIA is essential
·Ensure KPI's and deadlines are hit within the Planning team
·Work with key stakeholders when required
 
You should have the following:
·Qualified NRSWA
·Previous experience of managing a planning team
·PIA experience
·Experience in the end to end FTTP network planning process & supporting systems
·Experience with FTTP
·XGSPON experience
·Strong Understanding of Fibre and civil networks
·Computer literate
