Job description
Role: Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Montgomery
Salary: Up to £55,000 p/a plus package
My client, a leading contractor on multiple UK water authorities frameworks across the UK is seeking to bolster their project team in Montgomery where there are two sites .
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the deliverables of projects on the schemes awarded under the Client Framework Agreements. Effective communication with Client Representatives is imperative. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with experience of working alongside Project Managers to deliver schemes on time and on budget.
Responsibilities are as follows:
·Assist the Project Manager in leading site teams and sub-contractors, to maintain the highest possible standard of safety performance at all times, and ensure safety is the number one priority of all members of the team
·Overseeing and managing electrical installation, including direct labour and sub-contractors
·Working and contributing to client programmes
·Attend progress meetings with client and internal project management
·Procurement of materials and identification of sub-contract order requirements within project budgets
·Review and manage detailed designs and engineering
Qualifications and Experience
·Qualified Electrician
·Relevant CSCS card
·First Aid
·SMSTS (desirable)
·SSSTS (minimum)
·EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)
·Above Ground Waste Water Treatment Experience
·Excellent written communication and IT skills
