Are you an Ecologist with experience writing, reviewing, and updating Ecological Site Management Plans?

Role Details:
You will assist the Ecology team in writing, reviewing and updating Ecological Site Management Plans to advise upon habitat creation proposals to maximise ecological benefits where possible and compensate for losses in respect to HS2. You will interface heavily with the landscape teams (who generate the planting proposals and draw up the habitats in GIS/CAD).
 
In addition to this, you will review/advise the team/wider disciplines relating to protected species issues / habitats & sites, including a range of habitats and species (water vole, otter, badger, bats, reptiles, GCN, Barn Owl, etc), assisting in gaining Schedule 17 consents and drawing up detailed designs.
 
Essential:
·Previous experience operating as an Ecologist on large rail infrastructure projects.
·Previous experience writing, reviewing, and updating Ecological Site Management Plans.
