Job description

Are you a Civil / Structural Construction Assurance Engineer with experience supporting rail infrastructure projects?
 
Do you have experience in civil/structural design, specifically viaducts and bridges?
 
Location: Brackley - Site-Based
Contract Rate: Dependant on Experience
Contract Length: 6 months - likely extensions
 
Role Details:
Working for a design consultancy on HS2 Phase 1 Section C2 and C3, being responsible for liasing with the EKFB Engineering Assurance Department to discharge the duties for construction assurance.
Through sample and scheduled inspections, examine all permanent works structures (including viaducts, tunnels and bridges) for compliance with the Employer's Contract Quality Plan for the purposes of certifying that the Works have been constructed, completed, tested and commissioned in accordance with the relevant design data and satisfy the Works Information.
 
You will also undertake reviews of the construction documentation including Quality Plans, Works Package Plans (WPPs) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for structual assets.
 
Essential:
·Prior experience as a Civil / Structural Construction Assurance Engineer working on rail infrastructure projects.
·Minimum 4-5 years experience in civil/structural design.
