Are you a Communications and/or Engagement specialist looking for a new challenge?
 
Carrington West are currently recruiting for an experienced communications and engagement professional to support a busy cline tin London. 
 
We are looking for a person with a proven background in working for a local authority and familiar with the activity and responsibilities of a highways and transport function and the ability to develop and deliver multiple engagement, communications and publicity programmes simultaneously.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Communicates clearly, confidently, and appropriately using the best tools and methods for the task.
·Developing Consultation and engagement strategies for a range of projects from small to large.
·Ability to influence and motivate a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve the objectives.  
·As well as developing consultation and engagement strategies also managing and delivering them, with the support of other team members, including all day to day administrative and project support functions - material preparation, event scheduling, etc.
·Develop and lead on comms and publicity for the team and service (non-scheme specific)
·Manage all correspondence for the team, across a number of channels. This does not mean dealing with all of it directly, but working with other officers in the team to ensure the authority are being as responsive as they can, and that the correct systems are in place to manage
