We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil 3D Designer to join a market leading consultancy on a long term contract basis. The ideal candidate would be a well-rounded civil technician, technically competent across all core Civil Engineering disciplines, with exemplary communication skills, and who has experience leading teams and delivering projects. This role would support projects in multiple sectors including transportation, energy, and defence.
 
This is a hybrid working opportunity, and our clients' offices are based in either London or Surrey. This position falls INSIDE IR35.
 
Essential skills & requirements:
 
·Competent in AutoCAD
·Experience in Civils 3D
·Experience using common data environments such as ProjectWise / BIM360
·Knowledge of External Works / Utilities / Highways modelling
·Good communication skills
·Willingness to adopt new technology / techniques
 
Preferred skills & requirements:
 
·Experience interfacing with Revit modelling
·Experience working in multi-disciplinary projects
·Navisworks capability
·Knowledge of BIM.
·Awareness / previous experience of ESRI ArcGIS
·Leading teams
 
Additional requirements:
 
·Willingness to be security vetted
·UK based British National
