Role: Driver /Water Sampler
Salary: £19,300 based on a 37 hour week
Location: London and the South East
 
My client is a large utilities contractor that is looking for a Water Sampler to cover London and the South East.  In this role you will be responsible for the collection of water samples across clean water connections for new developments, water treatment plants, discharge points ( sampling up stream and down stream ) as well as boreholes.

As this position offers full training for the technical aspects of the role, no previous experience of water sampling is needed, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling, PH water testing, mobile lone working experience or similar.
 
As a result you will spend a lot of time travelling between sites and must be comfortable driving daily to site up to 3 hours away. Once you have been trained you will be working in an individual capacity where your daily plans and workflow will be delivered to you from a tablet / laptop.
 
 
Essential criteria:
Full UK drivers license and be able to park a company van in your area.
Ability to work outdoors
Be comfortable driving in a field based capacity
Ability to use a tablet / laptop
Live in London or the South East
Be able to work as part of a 1 in 3 weekend standby rota ( You will be paid £50 per weekend for being on standby and any hours worked will be paid at X1.5)
 
 
On offer is a salary of £19,300 if you have no experience, up to £21,000 if you have previous water sampling experience based on a 37 hour week +  PPE, company van and training will all be provided.
