Role: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Uxbridge (operating within North London)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Have you got previous experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer?
My client is based out of Uxbridge and is looking to expand their operations team with the addition of a Water Hygiene Engineer.
The successful Water Hygiene Engineer should have experience in a healthcare setting (hospitals, care homes, etc.) and have experience working within and adhering to HTM0401 guidelines and protocols.
You will be provided with all necessary equipment, a company van and fuel card.
This is a great opportunity for somebody who has experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer, Water Treatment Technician (or similar position). This position is paid door to door.
You will be expected to carry out the duties listed below, as well as general plumbing maintenance, accurately recording and sending data back to the client Project Coordinator.
The main duties in this role are:
- Water tank cleaning.
·Water tank disinfection.
·Water sampling.
·TMV servicing.
·TMT servicing and flushing.
-Temperature monitoring.
- Closed system maintenance.
The successful applicant must have:
·A full, clean UK driving license.
·Strong ability using various computer software.
·Experience in a similar position (Water Treatment/Water Hygiene/Environmental technician or plumbing maintenance) working within a healthcare setting.
·Be familiar with HTM0401 guidelines and protocols.
·Extensive knowledge of Legionella/L8 regulations.
