One of the most well established engineering companies in the UK is looking to bring on board a waste engineer to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the sector.

• Job Title - Waste Engineer
• Location - Kent
• Contract Length - 2 years
• Pay Rates - £51.89 per hour

Key Deliverables/skills:

• Provide technical support to the waste management team and project teams to ensure expectations are met across the project.
• Relay the clear expectations to the waste management team.
• Provide guidance and advice that covers the complications of waste management and relay this to the SLT when needed in a professional manor
• Ensure the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments are followed
• Ensure continuous improvement of waste programmes/strategies.
• Carry out any and all audits or investigations of events and identify potential improvements.

Essential Qualifications:

• HNC/HND in engineering, environmental or scientific field or equivalent
• Knowledge and experiences in environmental practices, procedures and policies including correct, relevant legislation
• Experience working in waste inventories
• Experience in waste management
• Dangerous goods safety advisor certificates (Desired)
• Movement of dangerous goods certificate (Desired)
