Our client is looking for someone to join their Strategic Project section in London. This leading transport planning consultancy is seeking a person with strong numeracy and report writing skills to work as a Transport Planner and Analyst. The Company has a wide range of development projects, which include the redevelopment of Bishops Stortford, Twickenham and Guildford Stations and Strategic housing Schemes in excess of 3,000 residential units at Beaulieu in Chelmsford and Bourn Airfield in Cambridge. The successful applicant will work on a variety of these major development projects.
 
The successful applicant will have strong analytical skills, including the preparation of Trip Generation and Distribution spreadsheets together with working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG and TRANSYT.  The successful candidate will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge in highways modelling, for example developing skills in VISSIM/PARAMICS and other simulation programmes.
