Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Devon, in their search for a Town Planning Officer on an initial 3-6-month contract.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Development Management Team, and you will be tasked with working on small householder and minor applications with limited supervision. This will be all new cases and not a backlog.

This would be ideal for candidates that want to work in a busy & beautiful local authority whilst having the ability to manage their own caseload.
 
The authority is offering a flexible working arrangement until the pandemic subsides and can be flexible thereafter.  
 
Development Management experience in a local authority of more than a year is a must.

On offer is an hourly rate of up to £32-40 per hour depending on experience.
