I am recruiting for a Stores Person for an immediate start on a contract in Halesworth.
The Stores Person will be working to support a Highways maintenance contract. You will be responsible for managing the stores, including ordering, issuing and maintaining stock materials; general depot maintenance and record keeping ensuring value for money in providing a quality service.
 
Specific duties are
·Work closely with works managers and supervisors when ordering equipment and materials for reactive repairs, projects and schemes.
·Liaise with the other Storekeepers when ordering stock to prevent an overstock of
·Order and record all levels of fuel in the tanks in the depot and arrange maintenance of the fuel tanks and pumps for highways and winter depots.
·Recording Rock salt levels stored in the depots and upload levels to causeway for depots.
·Ordering and supplying all facilities management stock for various depots.
·Order and issue stock for depots.
