An opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor / Inspector with experience in Highways and section 278/38 works to join a client in Berkshire. You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the quality of works carried out by the contractors on site, carrying out technical approvals associated with s278/38 developments and liaising with the public, the developers and contractors on daily basis.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £22 - £24 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements available.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Overseeing the works carried out by highway contractors across the area
·Ensuring the schemes are delivered within the given time scales, budgets and to the client's standards
·Overseeing the construction of drainage and highways on new developments
·Liaising with the public, consultants, contractors and multiple agencies to ensure the works are carried out correctly
