Site Engineer
 
Salary- £35,000-45,000
 
Site Engineer required for long term Highways projects across the midlands (Wolverhampton, Derby and Lincoln) covering all setting out and site engineering duties.
 
Experience within Highways is essential, alongside Civil Engineering background and degree. Deliver the project / section of works on time, understanding the project set-up, the roles played by different members of the team and details of the site and
construction. Be fully aware of what has to be delivered and use this information to
produce a short-term programme for own works to be completed on time with
contract programme.
 
Duties:
 
·Responsible for the setting out of the works and recording the as built details
·Ensuring the quality of the works is in line with the contract drawings and specification
·Liaising with sub-contractors and recording changes
·Accurate record keeping
·Management of technical queries
 
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with the design and specification
- Ensure contemporaneous As-built records are kept in line with divisional processes and the Contract
  Specification.
- Review all procedures on a regular basis to ensure they are as efficient as possible
- Be familiar with LEAN procedures and contribute to daily meetings
- Liaise with the wider project and Design Team to resolve technical issues (Raise TQ's or RFI's)
 
You will hold:
 
·Experience dealing with site paperwork and specifications - RAM's, RFI's, ITP's
·Electronic setting out and CAD experience
·Highways project experience
·Knowledge of document control
·Degree in Civil Engineering
·CSCS / SSSTS
(Full UK license)
