Role: Site Engineer
Salary: Up to £35k (depending on skillset and experience)
Location: London and South East
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week

Are you a recently qualified or graduated Site Engineer who has also gained some industry experience and is looking for the next challenge in your career? We may have the perfect role for you!

Our client are a civil contractor who work in the Utilities and Oil & Gas industry. They are specialists in pipeline Design, Build, Repair, Maintenance and Diversions. They have several large contracts in the industry working for Gas companies, Oil companies and on Refinery's.  

They work on specialist pipelines with high pressures and within airports among other specialist areas. They are currently looking for a Site Engineer or Graduate Site Engineer to help oversee on their projects across the UK on several projects.

You must be prepared to travel as a result of their projects being spread across London and the South East and there may be requirement to stay away on occasion if travelling and staying on site during the week.
The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering background and previous work experience within the Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Utilities industry would be advantageous.

You must have a Civil Engineering degree and a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Setting out experience would be beneficial as would any additional site based qualifications such as SSSTS.

This is a permanent position and offers the opportunity to gain skills in a unique industry and gain industry skills and qualifications such as Manual Handing expertise, First Aid at work, Gas passport and CSCS Gold certification among others if not already held.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS Card
• Civil Engineering degree
• AutoCAD experience
