Site Agent - Civils & Highways

A Site Agent is required to work across the Swindon/Bristol areas, boasting a strong engineering background and site management experience within Civils & Highways.
 
 
The role:
 
Working as number one on site, you will work on projects in both public and private sectors, under competitively tendered and framework contracts. The role will suit an established site agent or a section / site engineer who not only has site management experience but someone who also demonstrates proven technical engineering skills, responsible for the safe delivery of contracts on time and within budget.
Quality and client satisfaction is paramount.
 
With the support of a site team to include QS / foreman & engineer, you will report direct to either the Contracts manager or Project manager, with the average size of schemes in the region of £300,000 to £4,000,000.
 
This will include running not only teams of direct labour, but also subcontractors for specialist works, requiring the management of both types of delivery.
 
 
The candidate:
 
To be considered for this role, you will require proven experience and background of civil engineering ground works and highways, with some knowledge of rail beneficial but not essential.
 
An engineering degree or equivalent will be preferred, although those who can demonstrate strong engineering and technical experience in addition to labour and site will also be considered.
