Job description

Are you a Signalling CEM from a Tier 1 background?
Have you been responsible for managing the interface between contractors on high value rail projects?
Rate: £DOE (inside IR35)
Location: London (hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months+
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading main contractor on upcoming works with HS2. Given the nature of the work, candidates who have experience on working on major high value projects will be heavily preferred.
Only candidates that have been previously signed off as a CEM can be considered for this opportunity. The responsibilities of this role will include managing multiple interfaces of contractors, and overseeing the entirety of the signalling function of this specific project. Therefore, this opportunity will require an individual that has influenced high value projects from its early design phase, managing the interfaces between the suppliers, and ensuring all contractors responsibilities and requirements are accounted for.
This role is based in London 3 days a week, with the ability to work 2 days from home. This role has been deemed inside IR35, with the day rate dependent on experience.
The longevity of this contract will be for an initial 6 months but is highly likely to be extended thereafter.
- Previous CEM experience (Signalling)
- High value project experience (such as Crossrail, Translink etc)
- Experience of managing project at early design stage
- Tier 1 experience
