The role: SHE Advisor -
Location: Multiple Sites Between Grimsby and Southern Norfolk
Pay: Up to £22p/h PAYE (Mileage paid)
Duration: Temporary turning Permanent in 3-6 months
Schedule: 40 - 45 hours Per Week

My client is looking for an experienced part time SHE Manager to work on the companies Anglian Water Framework projects. The SHE manager will be responsible for Safety, Health & Environmental of a variety of sites within the Anglian water region. Working on Water & Sewage Treatment Works, projects include multiple small refurbishment schemes, involving infrastructure engineering works.
 
This role will be based almost entirely site based involving travel to multiple sites of the nature mentioned above, anywhere on the framework from as north as Grimsby to south Norfolk/ Norwich way. The role will cover internal and external sites that are being worked on/in.
 
You must have a relevant NEBOSH Certificate and/or Diploma as well as working knowledge of ISO14001 and  ISO45001.
 
the ideal candidate will be someone who is very experienced with the below.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following:
 
·NEBOSH National Diploma /Certificate, GradIOSH would be advantageous
·Past SHE based experience
·Be able to commute too multiple sites across a vast area 4 - 5 times a week.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Develop & maintain Company SHE management systems
·Coordinate SHE meetings to meet ISO standards
·Advise Management &assist with the implements of new and existing SHEQ legislation
·Carry out office, workshop & site audits, concentrating on Quality & Safety
·Carry out & maintain all risk assessments in the workplace
·Coordinate & report accidents & near miss incidents with the Operations Manager/H&S Representative
·Develop a monthly SHEQ strategy, utilizing the intranet
·Coordinate CDM in line with the Construction, Design and management regulations
·Responsible for annual H&S audits & Quality Assurance
·Liaise with HR to manage company training
·Manage, maintain & develop SHEQ accreditations
·Conduct operational; health & safety related surveys
·Produce annual action plan for entire SHEQ activities
·Maintain & manage all related documentation
·Interface with all internal & external customers
·Ensure Company falls in line with Government Covid 19 guidelines
·Ensure we are compliant with all aspects of PUWER and LOLER whilst also maintaining registers and maintenance checks
·Manage the Company PPE requirements, including any hire agreements
