Our client, a National Fire and Security business with a great reputation, have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Peterborough as a Field Service Engineer.
 
The role is initially offered on an ongoing contract basis (no fixed term), but there will be realistic opportunities for this to go permanent if the successful candidate performs well.
 
The Role
 
·Meet company targets for periodic inspections of Security systems
·Liaise with the company's service desk to discuss customer issues clearly and effectively.
·Prompt completion of supporting paperwork/administration.
·Be available to participate in the on call rota (currently 1 in 5)
·Have a full understanding with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures and work within these procedures
·Cover Norwich City and the surrounding area
 
What you will need
 
·Knowledge of CCTV, Intruder & Access Control systems (Reactive maintenance and PPM)
·Security Alarm Systems servicing experience
·Presentable image when representing the company on customer premises
·Cleat and effective communication skills
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Hold current qualifications Security Alarm Systems (Desirable)
 
 
For the successful candidate, my client are happy to pay between £ 120-150 a day + Bonus and On Call Payments
