Senior SuDS Engineer
 
Are you an experienced Senior SuDS Engineer looking for a new role? 
 
As a Senior SuDS Engineer you will be responsible for development and execution of all responsibilities under the Land Drainage Act 1991 including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) approvals.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop, implement, and oversee the Local Flood Risk Strategy.
·Oversee a variety of flood risk management initiatives, including the creation of strategic plans, policies, flood awareness, flood warning systems, risk mapping, capital works, and asset management.
·Address complaints, queries, and service requests in alignment with Council policy and guidelines.
·Review planning applications at both outline and detailed stages, evaluating their potential impact on local flood risk sources and respond accordingly to the Development Control Section.
 
Essential Experience:
·Practical experience in Drainage and/or Flood Risk Management.
·Budget management experience.
·HNC or HND in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferable
·Welsh Language Level 1 is essential
