The company are a well-established Civil and Structural design consultancy working in a variety of building sectors in the UK.
 
Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious structural engineer, keen to progress, with several years' experience working within a similar design consultancy environment.
 
With a drive to succeed and will be involved with the growth of the office. In addition to taking a lead on projects, you will be involved with business development and a clear path for progression will be set whilst having the support from other offices.  
 
The scope of work covers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects and experience of the following would be beneficial:
 
·Residential Developments
·Domestic new buildings and refurbishments
·Apartment blocks
·Industrial buildings

 
Requirements

BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered with ICE/IStructE
Minimum 5 years' experience
Experience of working in all main materials including Steel, timber, Masonry and Concrete
Client facing
Experience of leading projects
Excellent communication
Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds beneficial
Ambitious with a drive to succeed and be part of a successful team
Drainage experience beneficial but not essential
