Job description
Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in NEC3 contracts for railway E&P projects? 
Have you previously worked for a railway main contractor responsible for client negotiation and change control? 
Location: Canary Wharf and Stratford - hybrid working 
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 
Benefits: Hybrid working, company car, 25 days annual leave, pension 
Role Details: 
My client, a leading contractor within the rail industry, are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to add to their team to support their substation upgrades. This is a £55mil, NEC option c target cost project along the Picadilly Line. They are carrying out a full upgrade of the electrical substations taking out the old switch gear and transformers to replace them to provide more power to the line for a new fleet of trains. 
You will be responsible for actively monitoring, analysing and accurately forecasting the costs in a project in collaboration with the project team, procuring and managing a supply chain, as well as undertaking the review of contractual documentation for new tenders submitted by potential Clients. 
 
Essential Experience: 
·Working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on NEC3 contracts in the rail sector. 
·Experience working for a railway main contractor responsible for client negotiation and change control. 
·Degree education in commercial management / quantity surveying 
Preferred Experience: 
·Chartered membership to relevant professional body.
