We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a critical contract in Waltham Forest, London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial success of this contract, which involves Highways infrastructure. Ideally, you should also have experience in term maintenance projects, although it's not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans.
·Monitor project costs and ensure they remain within budget.
·Manage subcontractor contracts, payments, and variations.
·Perform risk analysis and management.
·Prepare and evaluate tender documents.
·Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
·Provide financial reporting and cost forecasting.
·Resolve commercial disputes and issues as they arise.

Requirements:
·Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
·Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with Highways and term maintenance experience.
·Strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant industry standards.
·Proficient in the use of industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
·Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Relevant professional accreditation is a plus (e.g., MRICS).
