Role: Senior Process Engineer - Oil & Gas
Location: Epsom
Rate: £50 per hour
IR35 Status: Inside
Duration: 4 months +

My Client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer with experience within the Oil & Gas industry who has Front End Engineering, and detailed design process engineering experience. They will also have a good understanding of operations and troubleshooting and are able to provide practical solutions to our clients' challenges. 

As a senior engineer, they will be responsible for the technical delivery of work packages and deliverables. They may also be required to present your work to clients through reports and presentations.

They'll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables including, PFD's, H&MB, P&ID, Process Datasheets, reports, presentations, and calculation packages to support their work and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures. They will have process simulations and optimization studies experience and be able to prepare Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes.
 
Skills and experience:
·Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar
·Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers or equivalent.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Background in the oil and gas industry, with some of this in a multi-discipline design environment
·Experience in feasibility, concept selection and front-end engineering studies and detailed design.
·Experience providing technical direction and supervision of junior engineers in the preparation of project deliverables
·Understanding of relevant safety and environmental industry regulations. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (American Petroleum Institute, National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Institute of Petroleum, British Standards etc.).
