Senior Electrical Engineer - Commercial + Defence
Permanent - Salary negotiable (depending on experience) + Benefits Package

Main duties:

·Provide engineering design input to new products.

·Site visits to other offices and client assets as and when required.

·Checking detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation.

·Creation of engineering documentation such as specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certification and statements.

·Provide engineering support to the existing product collection.

·Assess technical queries and provide engineering answers to a wide ranging products portfolio.

·Liaise with internal departments such as sales, procurement and manufacture to ensure the best technical solution is provided in all instances.

·Sourcing suitable parts and materials when required.

·Ensuring engineering solutions are provided on time and on budget.

·Accountability and responsibility as technical approver of drawings and documentation generated within the electrical, and embedded software goods team.

·Creation of part numbers and bill of materials.

·Managing of team on performance, development, allocation/delegation of work, compliance to internal and external standards & regulations as well as day to day management such as approval of holidays, sickness leave and time reporting.

Skills/experience required:

·Proven electrical design skills

·Experienced within PLM systems for creating engineering packages

·High knowledge in Auto CAD package

·High experience within circuit design and embedded software

·Experienced within sector guidelines such as IMCA

·Good understanding of PBC software such as Altium Designer

·Knowledge in creating design calculations

·Product design experience would be preferable

·Diving component design knowledge would be advantageous

·Understanding of design standards

Qualifications:

·Degree in electrical or engineering or equal industry experience

·Relevant diving qualifications would be preferable
