Senior Drainage Engineer
 
I am recruiting for a Senior Drainage Engineer to work with a client in Caerphilly, South Wales.
 
The Drainage Engineer will have
 
- Knowledge of technical design standards, codes of practice, specifications and methods of measurement and their implementation and application.
- Knowledge of the Water Framework Directive.
- Knowledge of Sewers for adoption and the Water industries act.
- Knowledge and understanding of computer aided design programmes and drainage software: Micro Drainage, QGIS, and their application.
- Knowledge and experience of highway and land drainage design, construction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of current health, safety and welfare regulations and codes of practice and their application in identifying, analysing and evaluating project construction risks.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 and design risk assessments.
- Experience of attenuation and pollution controls.
- Experience in SUDs design from inception through to completion.
- Experience with preparing flood risk assessments and options appraisal reports to include effective solutions.
- Extensive relevant experience directly related to the job description since qualification.
- Experienced in working in a business culture of competition and meeting performance targets.
