My Local Authority Client in the Southeast is looking to secure an experienced Senior Planning Officer to join their Development Management Department on an initially 6 month contract.
 
Application types may include minors through to small-scale major applications (depending on experience). Th role may also include some case sign-off responsibilities of Assistant Planning Officers who primarily deal with householder applications, non-material amendments and submission of detail applications.
 
Hybrid working is offered, however, the office one day per week on a Tuesday with committee attendance being needed as and when required, the clients' scheduled committees are on a Thursday.
However, you may need to be flexible around office attendance in line with the business need.
