What you will be doing as a Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor
In this Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor role, you will take a hands-on approach to driving safety, health and wellbeing standards across site operations. You will be:
·Providing proactive SHW leadership across the Walsgrave highways project
·Acting as the site's SHW lead, supporting and advising operational teams
·Leading site inductions, daily briefings, inspections and behavioural observations
·Managing incident investigations, carrying out root cause analysis and embedding lessons learned
·Monitoring SHW performance, maintaining dashboards and ensuring accurate reporting (including HART submissions)
·Supporting audits, assurance reviews and SHW campaigns across the project

What you will bring
To succeed in this Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor position, you will bring:
·Experience in a SHW role within civil engineering, highways or rail environments
·A strong understanding of safety challenges on major infrastructure projects
·Experience with incident investigations, audits and compliance delivery
·Knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO9001 standards
·The ability to analyse performance data and manage reporting dashboards
·NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement)
·NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)
·IOSH membership or working towards Chartered status
·A proactive approach to continuous professional development
