Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the West Midlands in the search for an experienced Senior Planning Officer to operate within the Development Management Department. This role will be offered on an initial 6 month contract (Then rolling).

You will be required to manage a mixed case load of applications and provide professional advice regarding a range of householder and minor planning applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position and experience working in a Green Belt Authority.
 
The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and are offering flexible working hours. The role will be completely remote for the foreseeable future however site visits are expected.
 
It would be beneficial to hold a RTPI accredited Planning Degree or equivalent Planning qualification; and also hold a licentiate membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (or equivalent)
 

Carrington West Pay Rate - £35 per/hour (DOE)
