The role:
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality mechanical design and consultancy services. Your responsibilities will include managing mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
What you'll be doing:
- Producing detailed mechanical designs and specifications for building services projects
- Ensuring projects are completed to the highest technical standards
- Assisting in developing cost-effective engineering solutions
- Attending client meetings to define project briefs and expectations
- Preparing technical reports, reviewing tenders, and providing recommendations
- Conducting site inspections and producing condition reports
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Utilizing design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and IES
What you’ll need:
- A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in mechanical design for building services
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (Amtech)
- The ability to obtain or hold UK SC Clearance (due to the nature of the work)
