Job description

Are you a Section Engineer looking to work on Network Rail's CP6 framework? Do you have a background of railway civils?
 
My client is a large multi-disciplinary contractor with a large presence in the western region and have had some exciting contract wins on the Network Rail CP6 framework. They are looking for an experienced Civil (Rail) Section Engineer to come in and be a permanent fixture in their railway division.
 
Length: Permanent
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 DOE
Package: Car allowance, 5% pension contribution, Life insurance policy, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
 
Ideal Candidate will:
·Have worked as a section engineer in the railway sector previously.
·Hold a valid PTS.
·Be degree qualified (preferably Civil Engineering)
 
Day to Day Duties:
·Plan work and organise operations to meet deadlines
·Liaise with sub-contractors as project requires.
·Ensure HSQE requirements are adhered to.
·Ensure quality requirements are maintained throughout the project life cycle.
·Arrange the testing of materials and instruments.
·Check drawings and quantities.
·Keep a site diary.
